With over 20 years of teaching experience, we offer private music lessons to students of all ages and skill levels.
Music is the Mission
From preparing for Fairfield Music Academy performances, developing songwriting skills, singing and playing guitar, preparing for an audition or simply learning your favorite songs, we keep our lessons relaxed and fun.
Fairfield Music Academy focuses on developing the student into a musician and not simply a music student. We absolutely encourage parents to take part in our lessons.
Music Myths some adults have
I'm too old to start now.
Nope, FMA has students in their 50's 60's and 70's.
I have no musical talent.
No one is ever hopeless. As long as the student has the will, we'll get there.
I have to read music to play an instrument.
Reading music is not necessary for most applications, but we can teach you as much or as little about reading music and music theory as you choose.

Lesson Rates
Monthly Tuition
$120 for a 4 week month- 30 minute weekly lesson ($30 each lesson)
$150 for a 5 week month
The fine print
Monthly membership
Your monthly payment entitles you to (1) half hour weekly lesson at your designated time slot. All scheduled lessons are non-refundable and can NOT be carried into the next month or next week (unless the instructor is out) Partial or half months can’t be purchased unless it’s a holiday (see list)
Rates (no sales tax is collected)
Single lessons can be purchased on a first lesson trial basis
Monthly payments can be prorated for new or returning students only
Monthly Tuition (4 lesson/week month)
$120 ($30 each)
Monthly Tuition (5 lesson/week month)
$150 ($30 each)
$30 Performance Participation Fee
Policies
-All music schools have similar policies
-All scheduled lessons are non-refundable and can NOT be carried over to the next week or month (unless the instructor is out)
-If the instructor must miss a scheduled lesson, an
adjustment will be made or a refund will be issued
-If a student must miss a scheduled
lesson it can be rescheduled the same week of the missed lesson.
(IF A TIME SLOT IS AVAILABLE)
-Monthly payments are due the FIRST WEEK of the month
-To save as much time as possible, please have your monthly payments ready at the BEGINNING of the lesson. This way I can write a receipt or make change while you or your student is getting ready
Please DO NOT attend your lesson if you or your student is SICK or possibly sick. If you or your student attends a lesson sick, your membership will be permanently terminated.
